SNCF orders 23 Alstom TER to 135 million euros

Alstom has announced an additional order for 23 regional trains Régiolis SNCF, for a total of about 135 million euros.

This command, for regions Basse-Normandie (15 trains) and Haute-Normandie (eight trains) is part of the contract signed October 27 with the SNCF, financed by the French regions.

The original contract included an initial tranche of 800 million euros for the supply of 100 Coradia Versatile. In January, an option for 19 trains for an amount of about 130 million euros had already been lifted, Alstom said in a statement.
